Croissants de France

In Key West since 1984, Croissants de France has evolved into one of the best Bakery, Pastry and Chocolateries of the lower Keys and is considered an institution in Key West. For years, locals have made it a part of their schedule to dine at least once a week on a heavenly Crepe, Galette or Croissant.

The front of Croissants de France facing Duval Street looks and feels like a French café bistro. Around the side of the old house and on the back seating area the atmosphere is vintage Key West, with its decked flooring and foliage canopy which creates a shady soothing place to eat and talk. Everything we serve from appetizer to dessert is baked or cooked from scratch on the premises with only the freshest ingredients.

The restaurant offers breakfast, brunch and lunch, starting at 8:00 a.m. and provides waiter service until 4:00 p.m. although it remains open until 6:00 p.m. with self-serve seating.

The shop with its display cases filled with quiches, pastries, sandwiches and breads, looks again like a typical French bakery (Boulangerie). Display cases in the shop are full of delectable choices of snacks, back goods, pastries, Key Lime tarts, chocolate, mousses, tarts, éclairs and the list goes on.
Breads are also a popular item. Baguettes, eight grain, sourdough and croissants bring in a steady line of locals and vacationers.

Another part of the business that has grown steadily is the wholesale delivery service of fresh breads and croissants to local hotels, guest houses, restaurants and grocery stores in town. It is very possible that you will feast on some of our products while having breakfast at your Guest House or Hotel.

Along with the delivery service is the increase in wedding Cake and Pastry orders. We can make any type and size of Wedding-, Birthday- and Anniversary Cakes in a variety of flavors for your special day.
