Art Bar founder, Barb Benson (& sometimes, GrOb - that’s ME!), was a life-long artist, known for murals with lights & fountains. Upon moving from Yucatan, MX to Key West in 1996, she promptly found out about the moratorium on murals in old town, which basically, was responsible for her move to working with metals & the subsequent creation of the first gecko sculpture.
