Misty Mornings - Low Acidic gourmet Coffee - Rated 88 out of 100

OVERALL RATING: 88 - read full review below
The goal with Misty Mornings was to create a low acidic gourmet coffee blend but without losing any of the taste and aroma one finds in other gourmet coffee blends when they are created for a special reason i.e. Low Acidity. So this medium roast contains coffee beans such as Sumatra, when roasted to a medium roast, produces a low acidity coffee, then a touch of Indian Monsoon Coffee which is a low acidity coffee and aids in keeping the body full. Monsoon has been deemed to have a srupy feel, so we add just enough to, again, keep the body full, then to smooth out the Monsoon, we have added a touch of Ethiopian, which we feel increases the body, while at the same time smooths out the Monsoon.
90 Mile Stretch Espresso - Rated 90 out of 100
"Very sweet-toned aroma with floral hints. In the small cup medium-bodied and slightly lean in mouthfeel, crisp, cedary, with raisiny, licorice-toned fruit. Slightly heavy finish but excellent flavor persistence, with the fruit turning toward chocolate. Comes into its own in milk, where it is balanced and roundly rich, with deep semi-sweet chocolate character." K. Davids- coffeereview.com
Smugglers Brew - Rated 88 out of 100
Blind assessment: "Very impressive aroma: deep and lush with low-toned fruit (banana?) notes and hints of cedar and chocolate. In the cup crisp and roasty but still sweet with floral notes and a rich fruit that reads as semi-sweet chocolate. Simple but cleanly sweet finish. "

Deep Blue - French Roasted to perfection. Rich, Full Body, Smooth and No Bitter Aftertaste.
Villa Espresso - If you have ever visited the coffee shops in Northern Itlay then more than likely have tasted this blend, which is clean, a little sweet and finishing smoothly everytime.
Shark Bite Espresso - Dark roasted Cuban Style Espresso
Island Joes Breakfast Blend - Rated 91 out of 100 - Blind Assessment: "Very sweet-toned aroma: distinct cocoaish chocolate notes with hints of walnut and a black-cherry inclined fruit. In the cup the cocoa and walnut notes simplify and amplify, supported by a sweet, crisp acidity. Flavor fades rather quickly in the finish but the chocolate and walnut have the last word." K. Black Flag Espresso - Rated 90 out of 100 - "Cocoa, banana and a hint of cedar in the fine aroma. In the small cup big-bodied, gently and sweetly pungent, with a rich, orange-toned cedar character and cocoa notes that round toward chocolate. Rich short finish, very slightly astringent in the long, but sweet chocolate suggestions persist throughout. Remains in sturdy control in milk, though it never quite sweetens and blossoms." K. Oh! This is good! Try "Black Flag" at Bad Boy Burrito on Simonton. It is the Island Joe's roast that Bad Boy serves. This has become a part of my often-daily routine.
What a great con leche! It's like a bitter slate-asparagus-and-chocolate whipped slice of heaven.
(Or some such. I have been working on computers since daybreak....and boy are my arms tired!)

This is one of the best coffees we've had since we were stations in Hawaii!

Blind Assessment: Very sweet-toned aroma: distinct cocoaish chocolate notes with hints of walnut and a black-cherry inclined fruit. In the cup the cocoa and walnut notes simplify and amplify, supported by a sweet, crisp acidity. Flavor fades rather quickly in the finish but the chocolate and walnut have the last word.
Who should drink it: The dominant baker's chocolate and walnut notes make this a strong-presenced cup despite its delicacy, with enough grace to be enjoyed black and enough substance to handle whitener.

Blind Assessment:
Delicate aroma with softly pungent cedar and sweet tomato notes. In the cup gently and crisply acidy, with distinct floral notes and coffee fruit that reads as a tart, chocolate-toned cherry. A simple but very pure coffee expression.
Who should drink it:
A soft, sweetly fruit-and-floral-toned version
